The prevailing wind conditions at Canberra airport.

🚩 Note: the cross-runway is magnetic Runway 30 / 12 and faces into one of the prevailing winds.

the main runway is magnetic runway 35 / 17.

🚩 Note: when the wind is strong and between 060 and 090 (due to the sea-breeze reaching Canberra) is is difficult to land on runway 12 because of the turbulence caused by the new buildings within the Majura business park.
